Question: When will there be a central GLN registry of NHS Trusts?
A central registry now exists - it is called GS1 LocationManager and is a subscription based service managed by GS1 UK. It is mandatory for NHS suppliers to subscribe as detailed on the DOH Supplier Compliance Timeline. Suppliers are required to upload their GLNs to the registry by 30 Septmber 2017.
